The Problem With Pot
Marijuana is the "Blue Pill" of The Matrix
Jeff Daugherty

(NOTE: As far as the political aspects of marijuana, I voted for Gary Johnson.  Enough said.  As to medical marijuana, that is best left to the purvey of physicians, not scribblers like me. -JD)

If you haven't seen The Matrix you won't understand what the hell I'm talking about.

If you remember The Matrix you remember the classic red pill-blue pill scene.  Morpheus tells Neo if he takes the red pill, he will be taken down the rabbit hole and shown just how deep it goes.  If he takes the blue pill, he will simply wake up in his bed and go on with life as he knew it--inside the Matrix.

I believe that marijuana is the blue pill of The Matrix.  It is being used to trap multiple millions in second level consciousness, thereby turning them into batteries to feed energy to the vampirizing 2nd level Fallen Angels, all while enjoying a low-level pseudo enlightenment.

As Neo would say "Whoa".

There is no way to fully cover these subjects in a work as short as this so we will be giving you just the top layer.  Those who want to go even deeper and get all the groundwork unpderpining the statements here are invited to visit www.blogtalkradio.com/nckabbalah and listen to at least the last few installments of Demystifying Spirituality.  I would start with the November 17, 2012 show.

And now, down the rabbit hole.

There are basically five levels of human consciousness.  We start our discussion looking at the first two.  LEVEL 1 is labeled AGGRESSIVE BABY by my good friend Dr. Andy Toltec.  This is fairly self-explanatory.  People in this level live and learn by trial and error pain/pleasure experience.  They scream, cry and throw fits until they get what they want.  They burn their fingers along the way to learning not to touch life's hot irons.  This is the level of both chronological and consciousness babies.  Level 1 is generally not a happy place.

LEVEL 2 is labeled PASSIVE CHILD.  Tired of getting fingers burned and weary of screaming and yelling, the level two individual learns to copy what seems to work for others.  He watches what others do and if it works, he follows.  So anything that makes him not want to scream and cry and anything that doesn't get his fingers burned looks like progress.  And technically, it is.  It is a step up from Level 1.  So Level 2 can be a very comfortable place for someone that just wants the hell out of the lower level.

Enter the Blue Pill.  Marijuana WILL greatly aid you in moving from Level 1 to Level 2.  No doubt about it.  It will make you fell more comfortable.  It will remove stress.  It will make you more well adjusted.  And living in Level 2 will make you happier than living in Level 1.  It feels like progress because it is.  It feels like enlightenment because it is.  So what's the problem with pot?

It locks you in at Level 2!

The problem with Level 2 is that it is so comfortable.  It is a very easy place to live.  Just like the Matrix.  If you get too comfy in Level 2 you quickly lose desire to move to Level 3.  Level 3 requires that you stop simply copying what seems to work for others and start thinking on your own.  Level 3 is where the little bird jumps out of the nest and learns to fly.  Marijuana makes you just want to chill.  It makes you just want to take it easy.  It breeds the "hey man, I grew out of Level 1 and I am just fine here" mentality.  Level 2 makes you look at your wings and shrug, "Who needs to fly anyway?  I'm good right here in this awesome gilded cage."

Let me tell you what happens.  I am going to assume that you are not just a lazy piece of crap that doesn't care.  If you read this far, that is fairly safe.  I am going to assume I am talking to "Neos".  Marijuana (MJ from now on) will remove the desire for personal growth from you.  MJ will sap you of the drive and detiremination to improve yourself.  Use it enough, and you won't give a damn about Level 3 or anything higher.  Guaranteed.  You will be just like the rest of the masses, content to live out your life as a battery in the Matrix.

Let me tell you why it happens.  First we need a little mini-lesson on the spiritual world.

We live on the physical plane.  Immediately "above" us is the ASTRAL REALM.  This is the realm of the gods and demons of our dream life.  It is analagous to the false world of The Matrix.  "Above" that is the ETHERIC REALM, the realm of God. This is like the world that Neo was to take them to.
(Listen to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/nckabbalah/2012/08/25/the-nckshow for a detailed discussion.)

Our job as humans is to journey from the physical plane to the Etheric.

The vertical beam of the cross represents that journey.  The horizonatl beam represents the ASTRAL.  In the astral are beings that don't want us to complete our journey.  Simply put, they want us to stay in Level 2, cozy and comfy so that they can feed on us.  Actually, the entities we typically call DEMONS, the scally, scary fire-based elementals, are fine with us being in Level 1.  In fact they prefer it.  They feed primarily on fear, and Level 1 is full of fear.  If you can't see Level 1 is bad and you don't desire to move out of there then I really can't do anything for you.

The Level 2 water-based, love and light snake oil salesmen entities are FALLEN ANGELS.  It is this bunch that want to keep you in Level 2.  They want you to stay there so they can feed on you.  They feed on your human energy.  To stay alive and well fed all they need to do is keep you in Level 2.  As long as you stay in Level 2 you are their battery, just like in The Matrix.  MJ helps them do that, for all the aforementioned reasons.

So that's the problem with pot.  It is the BLUE PILL.  It keeps you happily sedated, fueling the Matix.

Enlightenment and self progress are the RED PILL.  Not comfortable.  Not easy.

So now it's up to you.

Red pill or blue?

  2. Ryandeathmetal1, you almost make a good point, and then you ruin it by casting your own recommendations and suggesting balance is the answer. If balance is the majority of the bell curve, how can status quo be the answer? Your only valid point seems to be that marijuana may affect people differently, so some may be able to rise up whereas most will not.

Anyhow I would have to agree this would not be the path to enlightenment. Enlightenment would be too easy if that were the case, and though I wish it could be a path of easy sailing, I believe that it takes more focus and determination.

As far as the author Jeff Daugherty it would be more sound if you could cite your sources for the belief system that perceives these levels of consciousness, or cite them as your own.

  3. Interesting read...... Some of the rehtoric I agree with and a lot not. I am a medical marijuana user. I choose it vs pills to control my Bipolar/Add/PSTD And I'll be the first to say: "Weed is of the earth from God." Genisis 1:12,1:29, Matthew 7:18-20 and so on and on. It's referenced in old and new testament living. My point is, If I'd have stayed the way I was. I would have 99.9999 percent chance offed myself! Taking all these Anti-depressants that do kill people "For reference Nick Drake." Over 27 million people are prescribed this shit! I'd much rather choose Marijuana. If it's good enough for Willie Nelson. It's good enough for me. He's older than water! #LOL Compare him to his other Country Comrades. He's stuck to the natural setting Shrooms and Pot. You know, Most higher level Kabbalah mystics; actually par-take in Marijuana and Shrooms a few times a year? The illusion is man made drugs my friend...... Addiction of pills here in America. Shit, it's past the point of annoyance. My current boyfriend is battling addiction. Compared to marijuana. Wow, there is such a big difference. Trust me... Perscription Drugs are the real blue pill of our society. I respect your thesis on this. But, there is too much bias... The herb revel you to yourself~Bob Marley. Peace & Light Kimberly Jan Owen
